Description: Raven is on the small side of the Plott Hound size scale, weighing only about 50 lbs. But, what she lacks in size, she makes up for in heart. She is Grand Show Champion, earning that title in short order. She has a course, rather high pitched squall mount on track and a never ending chop on tree or at bay. She hunts close, is easy handling, and as far as I know has never offered to "trash"! She'll run 'coon and boar, preferring hogs to 'coons. We have never tried her on bear, but we are confident that she would run a bear like she runs a boar.

With Wild Boar hunting becoming more and more popular, we are pairing her up with 'PR' White Deer Joe Plott in 2007, hoping to get a litter or two of small to medium size hounds, with strong mouths, some speed on track, and with the size many Wild Boar hunters are demanding; a smaller, lighting quick, gritty hound that will work well in close cover and handle themselves well in a tight spot.
