He also has a healthy portion of Brandenburger's Pioneer Plott Hound Blood in his veins, not to mention dogs like World Show Champion Grand Champion ‘PR’ Peoples' Smikin Joni and World Show Champion Grand Champion ‘PR’ Peoples' Smikin Joe. Add to that, a generous portion of Everett Weems' Plott Hounds famous blood lines, including "Butch and Jill", 'PR' Weems Plott Punie x 4, and you have a real Hound!...that's Joe. Then, consider that he has a total of 23 N.P.H.A. "Hall of Fame" Hounds in his six generation pedigree out of 62 ancestors...that's more than a third of his bloodline!
And, not only does he have the blood lines, he lives up to it! Joe is a tight wound 65 lb. good looking Plott Hound that takes his hunting very seriously. He has a short course bawl on track and an insane loud chop on tree or at bay. He'll run a Wild Boar, Bear, Cat, or 'Coon and do it all in style! He is truly a Hounds man's Hound. He hunts close to medium, checks in religiously, is not quarrelsome, and handles like a dream. He'll strike off the rig if you ask him to, our just strike out in the woods in conventional style.
His pups are vigorous, handle well, train and break easily, and start young and finish into exceptional hounds at an early age.
